| Txindurri-iturri farmhouse is on a lovely part of the Basque coast Surrounded by mountains, meadows and woods, but a short walk away to the coastline with wonderful views of the Bay of Biscay, and close to the lively tourist towns of Zumaia and Deba. This rural guesthouse has been completely renovated inside in order to provide the needs and comforts for a pleasant holiday
We have 6 double bedrooms, all en-suite bath and shower, low-consumption heating and TV. Also available is a self-contained apartment with two bedrooms, kitchen/living room and ample balcony. Each bedroom has a different colour scheme and with antique furniture that has been restored and also of different styles. Even the stonework in each room gives each a special character. An important feature of the bedrooms is that each has an independent exit to a terrace which has views of the small valley in which the farmhouse is located.
One of the cosiest places is the sitting room located down below in the old cider store - decorated with old utensils for making the cider barrels and tools for harvesting the apples and making the cider, all of this accompanied by a cosy, wood-burning fireplace with wide armchairs for reading a book or enjoying the local, home-made spirit liquor.

We also have an apartment for rent which accommodates four people with two bathrooms, ideal for families.
In this rural guesthouse, independently of accommodation, we offer breakfasts and dinners. Breakfast includes our home made marmalades and sponge cake. For evening dinner, we have the typical cider house menu and special menus made with vegetables from our own garden. We place particular emphasis on the quality of the food. We use produce from farmhouses in the area or from our own farmhouse. We make marmalades, quince jelly, fig jam, spirits ("patxaran"), cider and apple vinegar. We also make home made soaps.
