| A traditional XVIII century rural house in the stunning area of the Picos de Europa National Park, completely restored and modernised to make a lovely comfortable holiday cottage in fantastic surroundings, with great views, peaceful place, ideal for walking and great house for children to play too. The house is ideally located for an excellent holiday - close to the lively, historical town of Cangas de Onis, markets, bars and restaurants, near the famous Lakes of Covadonga and the Cares Gorge, and less than half an hour from the beautiful beaches of Asturias and the Costa Verde. In less than an hour we can visit - Gijón, Oviedo, Llanes and Cantabria. Close by (10 mins or 5.5 kms) in Arriondas we have all the services we need; banks, supermarkets, hospital, indoor swimming pool etc. Lots of outdoor activities available and easy to arrange; canoeing trips on the river, horse-riding, karts, paintball, walking and guided trekking, caving and canyoning and many more. Direct flights from UK to Asturias by Easyjet (1 hrs drive) and to Santander by Ryanair (80 mins). |

There is a large lounge with open fireplace and a sofa bed of 1,05m (1 adult or two children). The kitchen is completely separate, and is very well equipped, with all appliances and extras like toaster, mixer, griller etc. Full selection of pots, pans and tableware. The washing machine is in one of the bathrooms, and the barbecue grill is outdoors and not in the kitchen. All the bedrooms have sheets and towels and a full change for each room provided in the rooms. The DVD also works as a CD for reproducing music.
The owner speaks English, so will be able to help and answer any of your questions about the house and your holiday. |
